Blooming Petals is my first-semester E-Project at Aptech Scheme 33, developed collaboratively with my teammate Baarun Jamal. The project represents a decorative flower and event-themed website created using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Designed with a clean and elegant user interface, the site aims to deliver a visually engaging browsing experience that reflects creativity and strong foundational web-development skills learned during our first semester.
The website includes multiple sections such as Home, About (featuring an elegant background video), Products (with a show-more / show-less functionality), Upcoming Events, and Contact. To enhance interactivity, it features a contact form, live timer, visitor counter, and a login/register system where the user’s name appears dynamically in the header after authentication. Additionally, the site integrates add-to-cart and checkout functions, along with a detailed sitemap for easy navigation. These components collectively demonstrate the application of HTML structure, CSS styling, and JavaScript logic to achieve a complete and responsive user experience.
Completing Blooming Petals from 7 December 2024 to 7 January 2025 was an important milestone in my learning journey at Aptech. It strengthened my practical understanding of front-end development and teamwork, while inspiring me to pursue more advanced and creative web solutions in future semesters.
